Engine Before and After

first...here is my motor when i got the car


and now here is the motor this morning



anyone have a recommended cleaner to make it look nice and clean? tricks? tips? i want to make it look a little nicer...today im trying some Autozone Engine Degreaser because it was only 1.39. yay...lets see some other before and afters too....

looks nice. My dad is building a capri, and to clean all of the black plastic like around the fan, he used brake cleaner, it worked good.

i have been trying things like armor all and windex on random surfaces and the armor all did alright on the black plastic but i cant get it to shine enough...i think i have some brake cleaner in my garage...ill give it a try

Btw, I used Purple Power on all my surfaces for my cleaning in second pic. Only bad thing I have to say about it is that I still have to go back and clean teh big black air pipe comign fromteh throttle body to the air cleaner, and that you cant let it dry at all or bad things will happen(not sure on that but the stuff is was strong wnough to cut through years a grunge after a gallon and a pressurewasher).
