Thumbs down Play in my man. rack?

So, I noticed if i was moving the steering wheel just a lil while parked i could hear a slight clunk.

Well, I pulled both front wheels off and retorqued to fsm spec and I found the clunk.

I took off the right tie rod and pushed and pulled on it.

There is play in the right inner tie rod .... the part that goes into the steering rack.

I think there is a ball socked the inner rod conencts too?

Anybody else have this problem?

I am guessing it is time to find another man. rack?

James

There is a ball joint there... I'd check that to make sure it's all good... Otherwise..

And yeah, this thread title is gay as hell. Keep your man rack away.
