"I"nfini! It's Infini!

They are stickers however, not emblems, and you better pick up a "Savanna" sticker too, or it's going to look silly. Well, for that matter, there were no Infini GT-X's, so nevermind, do what you want.

Why would you want an infini sticker on a car that isn't an infini?

I know one of the stores sell them. Either Mazdatrix or rx7.com sells them.

They had GTR/GTX/GT LImited/GT Limited Special edition/etc

---------------------------------------------------------
Kind of a side note but what do you think I shoudl put on my car? I am getting my fenders repainted due to crappy chips.

It's a 88 GTU and I am dropping in a S5 Jspec TII engine.
The S4 TII's were GTR's but I think that'd be a bit ricey.

I would like to keep the GTU but they have to come off when I paint.

Anyone know what the GT-Limited's were? Were they Infini's or something?

Also the Efini is the name FD's were sold under and Infini is the Special edition FC.

All japanese FCs were turbo. Not just the GT-X. It would also be stupid to put a Savanna logo or a GT-X badge on a car with an Infini logo because the Infini didnt have any badges that would identify it as an Rx7. It only had the Logo on the back, and the infini centrecaps on the 16" bbs wheels.

I've seen the emblems on the back of the car before. It looked plastic like the factory RX-7 emblem. It almost looks like the enkei emblem. I was going to put one or the other on my car, not both.

OH! Savanna is another name for Mazda, as is Infini and Efini. Savanna and Infini were used on FCs, and Efini was used on FDs... Those were names they were sold in Japan under, I believe.

For the same reason N/a people want a TII hood. And S4 people want S5 tails and body parts. They are riceboys.

Infini was used only for the limited edition specials. All FD's were sold as Efini RX-7's.

So does anyone have a full list of what all the different versions were in Japan?

For some reason, I won't be surprise if Icemark has the next post

No. Not All.

Only until the end of the 98 model year. 99 and up they were badged as Mazdas.

No.
The 2nd gen RX-7 is badged as a "Savanna" over there in Japan. There were several different models: The GT-X, GT-R, ect ect. One special model was the Infini. It was not, however, badged as a Savannah, but rather, as a Mazda.*

Steve

*I'm looking into this as we speak, because I have seen different Infinis badged differently(i.e. some as mazdas, some as Savannas). I believe that Mazda may have badged them differently between the different versions(i.e. Infini I-IV). I'll post up what I find out when I'm sure of it.

SA/FB, and FC (except infini models) were sold under the Savanna name/brand.

FDs (until late in production) were sold under the Efini name/brand.

Both the Infini FC models and the late FD models were sold under the Mazda name.

The Infini did not have any labeling other than the Infini logos on the wheels, steering wheel, and left rear and the Mazda label in the front bumper and rear right side.:

Yeah some questions weren't answered.

What's a GT Limited? Since they didn't have GTU/GTU'S or GXL's what were they? Verts?
