emmissions removal/other stuff

1: wtf do I do with the twin scroll? I'll just wire it open, I guess. but which way is open?

2: The wastegate can just go to any vacuum source, right?

3: the fuel lines... the one from the filter goes to the UPPER rail, the other one goes to the LOWER rail, right?

4: I tried to pressure test the fuel system to check for leaks but I couldn't get the fuel pump to turn on.. is this a feature? or what? The engine harness isn't connected to ANYTHING at all, could this cause the problem?

5: I can put the vacuum line for the FPR and the OMP to anything, right?

6: there is a vacuum nipple on the LIM inbetween the 2 oil injectors. Can I block this off?

It is sprung open so it does not need any wiring. A much better option is to remove the solenoid from the rack and plumb it up so it works properly (i.e. reduced turbo lag) as per the schematic in the FSM.
2: The wastegate can just go to any vacuum source, right?
Why even touch it? Leave it on the compressor housing where it belongs.
3: the fuel lines... the one from the filter goes to the UPPER rail, the other one goes to the LOWER rail, right?
Assuming this is a US-spec engine then no. The supply line goes to the primary rail (with th PD), the return line goes to the secondary rail (with the FPR). Refer to the fuel system schematic in the FSM.
4: I tried to pressure test the fuel system to check for leaks but I couldn't get the fuel pump to turn on.. is this a feature? or what? The engine harness isn't connected to ANYTHING at all, could this cause the problem?
The fuel pump normally won't run unless the engine is cranking or running. You can test the fuel pump by jumpering the yellow plug beside the RHS strut tower and turning on the ignition.
5: I can put the vacuum line for the FPR and the OMP to anything, right?
Hell no. The FPR goes to the angled nipple on the inside of the LIM. The OMP line is connected to the large nipple on the rear of the UIM behind the TB. Refer to the vacuum routing schematic in the FSM.
6: there is a vacuum nipple on the LIM inbetween the 2 oil injectors. Can I block this off?
It's not a vac source, it's for the fuel injector air bleeds. It should be connected to the topmost small nipple on the rear of the UIM behind the TB. Refer to the vacuum routing schematic in the FSM.
In case you haven't picked it up, you should really be reading the FSM before your rip you engine to bits. This pic should help you too.
