Emissions: Single Or Dual for N/A
Hey guys, its just a thought in my mind; A single exaust N/A car can never pass emissions even with a cat right? because all the gasses are exiting through one pipe instead of two and the sniffer only goes in to one pipe. So if I had a two mufflers and the sniffer is only in one of them then my chances of passing emissions are higher. Is this correct?
Thanks for the input guys

Uhh, in Illinois they put sniffers on all the tailpipes... I can't imagine your **** emmisions state only putting the sniffer in one tailpipe.... An NA car with a single exit exhaust can pass just like a dual exit. A single exit will also be louder especially since its NA.

Emissions are percentage based. It won't make the slightest difference. Some people cheat emissions tests by pumping air into their exhaust to dilute it. I believe you fail if there's too much oxygen in your exhaust, for that very reason.
