GA emissions/rats nest removal WITHOUT electric 6 port conv?

I think I already have my answer, but just to clarify.....Is it possible to do an emissions?rats nest removal WITHOUT needing to do an electric 6 port conversion, if so, what all can I remove without affecting it?

You can start by either taking a long hard look at the vacuum diagram in the S5 FSM, or searching the forum for a color version. The S5 NA is a bit of a vac line mess.

You'd need to keep:
6PI solenoid
VDI solenoid
Air pump
ACV (is has a nipple near the air pump outlet that feeds the 6PI & VDI solenoids)

Ultimately, you would not really be removing much. It would be 3 solenoids and the metal hard-lines, and then you would then need to figure out new routing for the lines to and from the 6PI and VDI solenoids, as well as some place to mount them. IMHO, it's not really worth the effort.
