emissions equipment

its been quite a while since ive seen any emissions equipment, so im wonderin if a full wiring harness is required to make an emissions system work. ie an electrical connection to the acv or airpump?

I think that you could get through without the full wiring harness. Just figure out some way to pump air to the cat, either through the ACV or not, depending on the strictness of the emissions station. As far as a physical electrical connection to the ACV, you could always stash the connector so it looks hooked up.

COurse Ive only HEARD about this stuff...Never actually DID it..

If you want a fully functioning original emissions controls system, then yes you will need a complete stock harness.
