Emission Removal for S4 TII

I have found two vac leaks behind the throttle body not sure where they come from or where they go due to buying the car off a guy that half *** did stuff. To fix this problem i want to just delete some of my emission stuff to reduce the vac live and give my engine bay a cleaner and simpler look as i seen with other rx7's

My questions are first i live in PA and it start to get a little cold out side should i keep or delete the BAC valve and do the throttle body modd. if im rite i think you have to delete coolant lines so would this make it hard to start in the cold. Also if i delete the cats, EGR, ACV, Split air pipe how will adjusting the idle and fuel be due to the lack of extra air in the system. The car does not have p/s, a/c or the air pump now

When I did emissions removal, I kept the thermowax... In case I needed to start my car in colder areas. So, I kept that 90 degree coolant line in the back. I also kept the dashpot. When it comes to controlling idle, I have used the fast idle adjusting screw and set the TPS. I regret elminating the BAC, though. There are certain things you can keep or discard. I'd say it is personal preference.

It seems like the TB mod is a thing of the past. Some people have problems, and some people have no problems at all. Like I said... It's personal preference.

See thats the thing idk if my BAC is even good now because when i start it in the morning i have to give it gas untill it gets a little warm, but this also can be the cause of the vac. leak too rite. DWB87 why do you regret taking it off?

For idling reasons. I'd like to have a much smoother idle.

I'd get the vacuum leaks taken care of. Try removing your BAC and cleaning it thoroughly. Clean the hoses to it, too.

Not trying to be a jerk, But if you do a specific search of the 2nd gen section, there are hundreds of threads on S4 TII emissions removal and vac line removal.

cap the leak. or find out where the hose gos, thats what i would do. then check timing, Just to be sure its Right, that could raise idle if its incorrect. and maybe even turn down the screw on the top of the uim. But that's how i do things, Im not saying its Right

Never delete the BAC valve.

The throttle body mod is pointless on an NA and just makes a TII harder to drive with the illusion of better throttle response. Unless you have a full standalone that allows you to tune around a modded throttle body, keep it stock.
