Emission removal question.... IMPORTANT!

Ok so ive being following Rotary Resurection's s5 turbo emissions removal procedure.... Its not the easiest thing to follow but ive gotten almost all of it done.

Car: 1991 Savanna GTX Turbo Rx7

Topic: Emissions Removal

Questions:

1. Do you not need any of the vacuum rack at all??

2. What do i do with the turbo oil line that is welded onto the vacuum rack???

3. Also, how do i presurize my fuel system? I cannot find the "yellow check connector at the passengers side strut tower"

-Thanks,

Ben

1. No, you dont need any of the VAC rack. But you need to run vacuum to your FPR and a few other components, which is covered in the emissions removal procedure.

2. Isnt that covered in the procedure? I forget off hand..... sorry

3. Its located in the harness that runs by the turbocharger to the MAF. My yellow check connector sits about 3 inches to the left of the turbo, right by the passanger strut tower

The fuel pump test connector isn't all yellow, just the part where the connector goes. I believe it is actually black or something on the outside. Its quite large, also.

Ya the 'yellow' connecter took a few minutes to find, but i managed to figure it out. I cut the turbo oil line away from the vac rack and bolted everything down... So my emissions removal is now done.

Cheers

Ben

You're thinking of the circuit opening relay under the dash. It's black with a yellow base ans a white plug. The fuel pump check connector is just a small yellow 2-pin plug.
