Emission Gurus Needed Plz! <3

Ok, been doing research about getting my car to pass emissions since im 100% sure once I get my 7 the DMV is gonna want me to pass emissions... So after my research, I've concluded that this is what I need to do... Just asking you guys if Im making any wrong assumptions here... 3 options..

Option A)
1) Air Pump
2) Main Cat (3" ??)
3) Welding flanges onto main cat...
4) Taking the newly welded cat and replacing my Downpipe with it?

Anything else Im missing here? Just directly connect the air pump to the main cat with some rubber hosing?

Option B)
Find someone to pay a little extra.

Anyone around NoVA know anyone who'll do this? And dont I need to pass visuals too? Ie, having to have a main cat? lol

Option C)
Registering my car using a different address that dosent require having to do emissions...

Could anyone give me anymore info? Would rather just get it passed myself... but do have a few address' that I could use to register it... just need to know more details...

Please post soon! Getting my 7 in a few more days ! But this emission thing is driving me nuts ... O_o Current mods in siggy... also Im guessing that if I DO need a cat I need to get a custom 3" cat ? Also due to recent financial reasons I really want to avoid option A because from what I've calculated, I'll prolly end up spending $300 + labor for some welding. Which will kinda hurt my already diminishing wallet :-/

id go with option A. you shouldnt have any problems passing emissions with a working air pump, cat, and a split air pipe

like I said at the end, money is really tight... getting the air pump + cat + labor for the welding of the flanges will prolly set me back at least $300... maybe even more.. Right now I'm leaning towards option C... but I need to know more information... like do I just register my car using another address JUST at the DMV? or do I also change my address at my insurance company, and what are the cons to doing this, etc...

I'd go with option B, I paid someone to pass my 7 for $50.

Check with Bret at RP Performance, he just replaced my front cat with a downpipe and a high flow cat he does great work, and the car passed emmisons with flying colors.
