Electrical question (relating to my old post)
Sorry I can put things together and everything but when it comes to terms im a mook.
Alright so I am putting in momentary push buttons. So far I have made a fiberglass panel with bezel to fit the old switch area (using the origional screws as well, fits very well). Upon which I have wired in temporare slide switches, which are working. Now I want pushbutton and only way I can get them is online.
Will this rating work: 3A @ 125 VAC? Or can someone explain to me what that meens as I understand only slightly (I wish I paid more attention in Electronics instead of just putting everything together lol)
Thanks! (Sorry if it's a dumb question)

Edit: Here are the two switches I want to use, sorry thids site doesn't have pictures. You can pull up the catalog page and match it up if you want (it's how I picked what I wanted)

you may want to describe what the switches are being used for a bit better (or at all) in this post, and maybe you could get a little more help. 125VAC means that the switch is rated for 125 volts RMS of AC voltage, with 3 amps of current. just about all cars have a 12v DC system, so voltage-wise you're fine. for the current, we need to know what you're using them for.

sorry I thought I had written in they where for window switches... must of thought it and not typed it lol.
I wanted to do a switch without having to use relays but everything I have been researching looks like it will be a lot easier to just use a relay. Since most momentary pushbuttons can't take the Amps of the window.
