Electrical question/confirmation
Now, to state off, here's the car description:
1990 N/A vert, street ported, greddy cat-back.
Ok, been reading through a couple posts, but haven't found much more info, so here's the buildup to the question:
#1: Replaced alternator. Has a small scar mark on alt, possibly from an eletrical touch.
#2: The idiot lights turn on, and stay on, save for a couple (ie air bag, security). The lights have gone out for a sec once, but are on all the time.
#3: The idle will start out decently, then continue dropping after each stop/start, until it wants to die. However, did not seem to do this when the lights did pop off.
#4: When hooked up to a battery tester, the voltage read 12.6, and decreased to 12.3 before I took it off.
Now, one scenario in here is the alt may be screwed up and not putting out.
It's been stated that if the alt is fubar'ed, that it'll cause the idiot box to light up. Is there anything else that could cause this?
As far as it goes though, the alt if hosed, right?
Also, anyone have a listing for the grounds needed?
And where can I find millimeter hosing that isn't silicone?

You can find hosing at Autozone, Advance, etc.
It does sound like your alternator/charging system is messed up. Check the output of your alternator per the FSM tests. If you just replaced the alternator, I would suspect a wiring problem. The lights going out once also makes me think it's a wiring problem.
If your alternator is giving the right output at the alternator, then it's wiring (possibly battery, not sure on that). If it's not, it's your alternator.
There's 2 plugs that go to the alternator. The black connector (B terminal I believe), and a B/W - W/B 2 prong connector (L and R terminals) that goes into the back of the alternator. Make sure those are both plugged in.
Also check the tension on your belt. If it's too loose or too tight then your alternator won't be working correctly (or at all).

Anytime voltage is under 12.6 volts, the alt is not making enough power to even run the car and the car is running off of the charge in the battery.
The idiot lights on, suggests that the alt is not working at all. That is the indicator for a failed alt.
With the car dieing with the parking lights on, screams that the car is only running on the battery.
