Question electrical question bout water tempt. wiring

i don't have wires connecting to the water thermo sensor clip, so my tempt. gauge doesn't work. What are the wiring like from the gauge cluster to the thermo sensor?? What are the color of the wires?

Is it normal that the radiator electrical fan comes on right away after you start the car and when the key is in the ignition?
thanks...

About the radiator fan/auxillary fan. THAT phenonem is caused by either the connector being off the auxillary fan thermostart OR the fuse blown. Check the connector for being on the aux fan temp sensor located on the water pump housing. Sticks straight up and is NOT the one behind the water pump housing. Has ONE single wire going to it. Green/Black.

The gauge water temp sensor is located just fwd of the oil pressure sensor on the left side of the engine. It's below the oil filter by about a half foot or so. One single wire going to it. A bullet connector. Yellow wire with a White stripe or Y/W if you will.
