electrical problems

i have an 88 t2. after getting in an accident i replaced my front head lights, after taht everytime i turn on my head lights my interior lights would turn on like the dash, logicon, and deck. this is wiithout the key in. anyone know the problem?

just recently if i turn left or right my interior lights, deck, ps, logican, heater/ac, turns off. this doesnt hapen all the time but it happens sometimes, maybe this is because theres a loose wire touching some metal when i turn?

The dash lights should light up in the logicon, gauge cluster, and even the glove box if the headlights are on regardless of if the key is on or not. Headlights and parking lights operate independently of the key.

You have a loose plug if turning a direction causes the lights to fail. Probably at the back of the headlight switch.
