Electrical problems

I just got a tune up on my car, and after i got it back, i noticed a couple problems:

my dash lights were really really dim, it idle's very erratically, like it keeps jumping between 1k and 2k really fast.

Intermittent wipers don't work sometimes (but that was a problem b4), the other day I took the car out, my wipers didn't work at all and my sunroof didn't work either (it DOES normally work).

Also, my driving lights aren't working now either, at first my friend said one of them were out, so i checked them, and they were both out? could it be they got burnt out? but I just replaced them.

I did a search, and found people with somewhat similar problems, from wut I've read, it might be the alternator or the grouding, am i correct? I'm probably gonna get it checked out as I'm not exactly sure to look for, but I just wanted to know if anybody knows wut this problem is.

dash dim, is probably the dimmer on the switch have you tried adjusting it??? Either that or the light switch may be burning out.

wiper problem you describe means the relay inside if failing.

The driving lights suggest the light switch is burning out.

What voltage is the volt meter reading at idle... unless it is low, I doubt that it is the alt.

i haven't checked the voltmeter actually, i've gotta do that....

i dont' think it's the dimmer switch (even tho i haven't checked it) because after the third time i drove it, the lights were back to normal.

For the driving lights, if the switch was burned out, then wouldn't both lights have been out? my buddy said one was out b4, and now both are, they were working like 2 days ago.

The light switch switches both the dash and parking lights off the same power circuit. If the switch is burning out it is common to loose all the parking lights, or all the parking lights and all the dash lights, or just the dash lights. The headlights however are on a different circuit and generally would not be effected.

hmm, well all of the electrical problems seem to have gone away, I haven't had any problems lately, even the idling is fine, except it does start to go a bit erratic when I turn on the fan. Anybody ever have problems that were intermittent?
