electrical problems

Ok the car is a 1989 RX-7 convertible, 186,000 miles all stock besides Sony radio. The idiot light cluster never works right. The clock resets to 1:00 every time I open my door. The door ajar light is always on. As is the E-brake light half of the time. The radio used to work fine. Then it got to where it would only work if you pressed the brake pedal in. Now it doesn't work period. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Before assuming the ebrake light is electrical, check the master cylinder to see if there is the correct amount of brake fluid in there. Take a look at the FSM and trouble shoot areas you are having trouble with.

Disassemble and inspect all areas of the interior harness and make repairs accordingly. Good luck
