Electrical problem, members help plz?

I have a problem where when I hit my brakes, all the lights to illuminate the gauges come on , all the lights in the dash come on, and my front turn signals (markers) will turn on , along with my brake lights (which is what I only want to turn on).

This is obviously causing my car to take too much power from the battery everytime I am hitting the brakes and is quite a nuissance, I think it also may be why my car idles so low because everytime I slow down the car has so much less battery power.

I rewired the entire main wiring harness myself because the old one was bad and I replaced it , I'm assuming something must be hooked up wrong somewhere or something has to be causing this in the wiring.

My heat also doesnt turn on either, which doesnt really bother me but it does need to get fixed sometime. I bypassed the heater core completely since it isnt going to be in use.
