electrical problem... i think

Question electrical problem... i think

This is friggin weird.. My system worked just fine this morin and about half hour alter i go start the car.. and nothing.. i have no electricity running through the inside at all... No lights no music no subs no amp... WTF? what the helll just made it turn off?? well i checked all the fuses... all are just fine.... anyone help me out here? im really confused..

That happened to me when I left an interior light on without realizing it. My car alarm has been known to randomly drain the battery if it's having a bad day too.

Well my battery is just fine too.. i can turn on my headlights, and for one reason or another my antenna works.. (since i put in a new audio i didnt have a button to push to have antenna work ... but now it comes up on itsown... while everything else is ... off)

It starts fine though right? I would double check the wires and fuses that goto and from your system. Unless you're pumping some massive wattage and your wires are too small you may have melted the casing, exposing the wires and creating an open. What's the condition of your harness? are all connections secure? What about the fuses on the amps? do the amps power LED's come on?

Basically start at one point of your electrical system and track everything to the other. IT's a PAIN in the butt, but it's the only sure fire way I know to negate any "non-authorized" wiring jobs done without your knowledge.

Check you 80A Main Fuse in the engine bay. It's probably shot. Test it with an DMM on Ohm's. If the resistance is 80329840932840934, it's fucked.

Well, i took it down t o best buy since istill had warranty ... and dint wanna void that... and they found the damn problem... A FRIGGIN Yellow wire (the power wire as i later found out... out of all the damn wires behind that damn audio the yellow wire was pretty much.. destroyed) So i gave them a $17 tip and they fixed it up for me all nice and cosey.. but now... I HAVE ANOTHER FRIGGIN PROBLEM ! WHY THE HELL CANT THE DAMN ELECTRICAL STUFF GO BACK THE WAY IT WAS A WEEK AGO AND LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE!@!! Please help me out again if you guys know how... by checkin this thread:
