Electrical Problem??
Hello ive been having this issue regarding some might consider as "electrical" Got a Pioneed CD player installed and then i noticed when headlights, cd player are turned on and then i stepped on the brakes the sound on the cd player dies, it even shuts off then turns back on, I dont get it. HELP me pls, do i need to add grounding as some of my stock grounding points are already GONE, any take on this will be very much appreciated.

This is my method of troubleshooting a possible "power issue"
Ok first check ALL grounding points for a positive wire connection. that + voltage will disrupt your stuff real good all it has to be is a bare wire touching another bare wire.
next check all grounding points to remove any corrosion and broken wiring.
if these 2 things dont work, then i suggest this as case specific:
Make sure your battery and alternator can handle the load man a lot of people come to me saying that their stuff wont work or is too weak. 9/10 The wattage consumed is greater than what their battery and alternator can supply. Remember EVERY system uses so much wattage. From the ecu to the power antenna. Even if you think "it was a stero for stero swap" it could be sucking up to 3 times the wattage your last one did. BTW another way to check it is idle the car and do the things you mentioned above when the cd player cuts off, did the voltage drop below 12?
