ok i unknowingly left my fog lights on yesturday and today when i went to go start the car it it didn't start. so i got a jump from a friend who has a desil truck that has 18 volts. i let it charge for a few minutes. then whent to turn my motor over it went to go turn over then it died. all the interor lights everything. so i went to autozone and recharged my battery. and they installed it and nothing, everything is dead. all i can do is turn on the front lights and my hazerd lights aside from that i get nothing.pleas help. me and my car,
Are the following your symptoms? Headlights come up and light up? Go down when commanded with no problmes? BUT if you turn the key to START, nothing happens, Not even a click?
IF so, then you've lost the power feed to your ignition switch. That''s all.
The feed wire for that ignition switch has a single blade connector located about six inches below the ENGINE fuse box. Look for it and see if it isn't pulled apart. Probably is.

that's the wire that's connected to the section of wire between the battery and main fuse right?

It is spliced into the same black wire that comes off the alternator which is some thing of meaning since if you have a meter and have no 12v at that point on the alternator you KN0W that the plug mentioned above is disconnected. It's easier to just look at the connector though.
That connector is called X-23 in the following jpg.

oops did i say between battery and main fuse? i meant alternator and main fuse haha. I've been trying to find the ignition wire myself to hook my stuff up. I guess i'll just follow this wire to the mechanism
