Electrical problem?

I seem to be having a problem with my Lights/Wipers?

I have not run my T2 for a few weeks and when i drove it last night the Wipers would'nt work on Int and would'nt park ether.

The Light problem happened the same night, it does'nt like dip/main beam, it works fine on Side lights but try to turn them on to Dip and it makes a funny noise and all the lights go out.

Does this sound like bad switches? i have had a look at the conectors/Plugs and there seems to be nothing wrong.

Any idea's?

Thanks.

Chris

With so many troubles at once, go back upstream to what is common. It's probably a poor ground. Start at the battery and recheck connections..

Bad dimmer relay (underbonnet) and a bad wiper switch (the internal relay is bad and possibly the controller circuit).

I know this may sound dumb but is there a simple way to test relays?

Thanks.
