Electrical Help Please

Hello folks- I have a 88 convertable that had an electrical fire and I have almost everything working- However the wind shield wipers are giving me a fit... I can't figure out how to "rewire" the motor to make the wipers work. I know that there is a relay in there however I do not know how to wire it into a "stand alone" switch.

If someone could please help me with any ideas I would greatly appreciate it. I am driving the Jeep- Getting 12.8MPG and I really need to be able to drive this car!!

Thanks for any help in advance!

The relay is built into the wiper switch, and there are actually two relays.

Are the wipers dead all together, or are there any speeds??? You may just have a bad wiper switch.

Could just be the typical sauder join issue on the wiper switch. You can either DIY replace the sauder on the circuitboad (you can visibly see the bad joints as they're discolored) or have a repair place do it for you.

I believe there are several RX-7 websites offering this service as well.

Unfortinutly the wiring harness in this car burned- when someone attempted to pull to much power for subs- so... I have rewired the radio...dash lights and such...everything basically but the wipers... I am just trying to make it work as if I were designing it in a racecar or something....
