Electrical help needed

My add coolant buzzer is going off on a regular basis, like every 90 seconds, but not consistently.
Facts:
There is plenty of coolant, the I bled out the air.
IF I yank the steering wheel to the left it will quit for a period of time.
It seems to happen when going over a bump in the road.
Grounding the coolant sensor wire doesn't help.
The add coolant light comes on sometimes, but not always.

Is there a wire that runs through the steering column that is hooked to that buzzer?

Thanks for any help you can give,
dave

I had the same problem when I first got my car...what happend was the sensor became corroded ...so I did a coolant flush on the whole system and have had no problems since then...its been over a year now!!! I used the Prestone coolant flush! Just follow the instructions and it should work...you'll need to leave the flush in there for about 10 running hours...for me that was about a week of driving!! You just drain the flush out and run water through the system and then refill and you should have a brand new coolant system!!

Did that last fall.
The problem is somewhere else, because when I ground the sensor wire, it doesn't stop buzzing.
I am thinking a possible CPU problem. I have had some other gremlins that I can associate with the CPU.
Any thoughts?

Coolant level sensor has nothing to do with the CPU or the ECU.&nbsp Check the electrical wiring from the sensor back to the interior of the vehicle - I bet there's a break somewhere.

Its connected to the main wiring harness. So it does go over to the drivers side of the car eventually, but Im not sure if the wire goes near the steering column.
