electrical guru's... TRY ME!!
i'm having this 3 BEEP (beep beep beep pause) dilemma and it started when i had the REMOTE START installed. that 3 beep pattern is going off as long as the engine is running.
i read this section off a FAQ...
___________________________
3-beeps, pause, repeat - in case abnormality of stepping motor signal:
The buzzer sounds when there are broken wires or short circuits in coils or harnesses.
___________________________
now what do you recommend i should do?? ultimately, it would be nice to RE-WIRE everything, however, i'm not quite "that advanced" in wiring as i just might screw everything up...
there any "shortcuts" to this?? i remember i had the steering wheel beeping code going off, and i had just unplugged a harness and it went away... is there anything i can do to "bypass" this 3 beep code without having to "go all out"?
any input would be greatly appreciated... thanks for your time ladies and gents!!

Three beeps... your power steering pump is unplugged of disconnected.
Re-connect it, or remove the power steering CPU...
Not a whole lot to that

okay, will give it a shot! and if it helps, my power steering had been removed LONG ago, and i never had the beeps until the remote start had been installed...
but thanks, and i'll experiment with that as soon as i get back from the chiropractor!

i'm having problems locating the power steering CPU... the factory manual shows only the wiring schematics and not an actual picture of the unit.
can someone PLEASE show me pic or give me a nice description of where this power steering CPU is?
thanks

right behind the drivers dash speaker... metal box, two 10mm nuts holding it in place.
