Electrical Gurus:Starting Problem

I have just replaced the alternator, had the starter test O.K., and run new positive wires to the starter and alt., and new negative wires to the starter, alt. and body. My car still will not turn on. I turn the key to the on position and lights come on but it will not crank. I have installed an aftermarket alarm system, which did involve cutting into the ignition wires, and the problem starting started soon after that. It evolved from occuring rarely until the point now where it will not start. Does anyone have any suggestions to what my problem might be? Icemark? Anyone?

just thought i'd point out that a ground doesnt go to the starter, but grounds off ON the starter BOLT.
reason for the starting problem is probably bad contact surface.

Yes, when I said I ran the negative wires, I meant that I grounded the body of the starter and alt. and I also forgot to mention the engine ground, which the body, and starter grounds come off of.
Also, what do you mean bad contact surface? Like I need to clean the ignition contacts or something else?
Thanks.

Assuming the starter is good, then the main culprits are either a bad ignition switch or bad contacts. The contacts can be either at the starter itself (or its ground) or corroded battery terminals.

There are some good things to test in my thread here: https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/need-help-diagnosing-starting-issues-already-searched-637903/
For the record, my problem was a corroded + terminal on the battery.

Thanks dude, thats exactly what it was. I just removed the ignition kill portion, soldered the original wires back together, and it started no problem.
Sideways7, thanks to you as well, I already had taken care of all of the contact sites as well as the terminals, mine was actually the - terminal (I don't know what the difference would be, but...) You've helped me out on numerous occasions and I appreciate it. I remember your car problems from a while back, didn't you have the video you posted where you were like "WTF is wrong with my car?" I'm glad you got your problems resolved as well.
Thanks to everyone that helped.
