Electrical Gremlin... Need help. Any suggestions?
Hey what's up guys.. So I tried to start my car up yesterday and it's not starting. I have a Haltech ECU and I'm noticing that it's disconnecting while I crank.
Here's the weird part. Another thing I noticed, as soon as I turn the key to start cranking, my turbo timer rests and starts counting down like if I turned the ignition off. What can I check to help diagnose this? Any ideas? Before when the car would start, when I turn the ignition to start, the turbo timer would just read volts like normal. I'm pretty certain the issue with my turbo timer doing this is why my car won't start and not an ECU issue.
About 4 months ago is the last time I messed with the car and it started and idled fine. It's been sitting since then and the only things I've done to it were, change the starter and putting a crank trigger wheel to delete the CAS.
For more details on this I posted in the Haltech section as well.

But I'm pretty confident it's not a Haltech issue but rather a wiring issue.

Check your grounds.
I just recently had a pretty strange electrical issue that ended up being due to a corroded connector on the hotwire that goes to the ignition switch...it was making my headlights pop up and down when I switched the ignition on and off, lol.
Sometimes I swear electricity is voodoo.

I'm gonna try to redo the wiring for the alternator. I know when I first tried to start it up yesterday, I had to pump the clutch like 50 times for it to kick on and start. This is after swapping a brand new starter in there. I have my battery in the trunk and I have a 1/0 gauge wire going from the trunk to a distribution block in the engine bay which grounds the chasis and the engine. All spots have been sanded down to bare metal for the best contact.
