Sprint RE Disconnecting While Cranking... What can cause it?

Hey what's up everyone,

I'm having some issues trying to get my car started up... My Sprint RE keeps disconnecting when I crank. I had the car running about 4-6 months ago.. It would start up fine and idle fine. I recently started working on it and put on one of FFE's Crank Trigger Kits with the VR sensor. I go to try and start it up, and the Haltech is disconnecting from my laptop.

A couple of things I noticed... Just before it disconnects, I see the volts drop down to about 11.4-11.5 while cranking. The RPM signal reads to 210, and the trigger count goes from 0 to 13 then it disconnects. It never did this before.

One other thing I noticed that's kinda strange is that as soon as I start cranking, my turbo timer starts counting down like if I turned the ignition off. It never did this before. Before it would show volts during cranking. I really think the issue of why it's doing this is related to why the ECU keeps disconnecting. Any ideas on what would cause this?

Things I've verified:

The 12V Ignition source I'm using for the ECU Relay does have constant 12V while cranking, the ECU is getting power while cranking. All the fuses are good for the Haltech.

I don't have any spark and the injectors are not firing. BUT, I can hear the fuel pump pumping. Even after it disconnects while cranking. After I stop cranking, the ECU shows Disconnected for about 5 more seconds then reconnects. During that 5 seconds before it reconnects to my laptop, I can still hear my fuel pump pumping.

I really don't think it's an issue with the ECU or the crank trigger kit. But would hooking up the crank trigger sensor wrong cause this? Any opinions or anything I can try to help diagnose this?

When I got in today to try and start it up, I had to pump the clutch quite a few times for the starter to kick on. I did recently replace the starter with a new one. Can the wiring to the starter cause this?

Any ideas would be appreciated!

Thank you,
Frank
