Electrical glitch, need advice

The car is a 1990 Turbo-II (just purchased)

I just de-greased the engine 4 days ago, and last night my girlfriend left the door ajar so the battery died.......

This morning I push started the car to kick the engine over and charge the battery.......now that the battery is charged I noticed that the voltage gauge stays at 12v even under heavy rev. I am worried that it isnt charging even though it is starting as normal now and came back to life.

I also noticed that now the Warning lights in the center dash are all lit....all of them.

My questions are;
Is this likely to be a fuse? If a fuse goes bad can it cause all of these issues, or should I be looking for a short in the wires? Is it likely that this is 2 problems and its a coincedence that they appeared at the same time?

I am still digging in my garage for the fuse-tester, but I would love any advice in the meen-time that could shorten the search of the problem.

Charge the battery before you replace the alternator, it puts too much stress on it. Thats probably what killed your old one.
