Electrical Confusion!
Hi Everyone, Well My Car was sitting for about a 4 months.. i would come and Drive it a Few times so It would Stay in Shape. But the past Few Weeks i was Away and The car Sat. Well What happened was the Battery Died and i took it Out and Charged it after. that i Put it Back in and Fired her Up. Everything is ok But, my console Lights Turn on and Off at Random Causing My car to Act Funny with the idle. I hear i may need to Reset me Ecu. But if If Anyone Has a Better soulution Thankyou.

well this guy is a close friend of mine, and ive been trying to troubleshoot his problem while about a 3 hour drive away here in college lol
anyways
ive come up with a couple of things
His hesitation could be caused by bad groundings
alternator is going out or connection to alternator, why? well i told him to WOT his car in a safe area and when at wot all of his emergency lights went off overheat exhaust, check engine, coolant etc
we are going to put in a FD alternator in next week
but i was wondering though his exhaust does have alot of leaks and holes in it, this could be the possible reason of all of his shaking he has in the rear end above 3k rpms, ive tried playing with the U-join in the driveshaft, no play at all
if possible we could get a new rear end
oh and hes a nub as well lol its a 1990 gtu
another problem is his left blinker doesnt work, right one does, i was thinking his switch just needs to be rebuilt or replaced

im sorry not console, idiot lights turn on hes heading hom right now so ill have him post which of the idiot lights come on
and niether the blinker outside car or in the gauge cluster light up
