Electrical completely dead. (not main fuse/battery in correctly)

Well I finally got things put back together and fired her up and she ran for a bit. It seemed like it was running a little rough so I turned it off to check the ignition wires. They were fine. I got back in and went to start her up and as soon as I turned the key I heard *SNAP* and knew right away something had blown. At this point all electricals are dead. No overhead lights, no radio, no indicator lights, no starter, no fan, nothing...

My first thought is that I blew the main fuse so I replaced it. Nada. Then, grasping at straws, I thought maybe it was one of the other fuses on the strut tower or in the floor. Nope. So I get out the multimeter. Battery is good. Then I came inside and started searching here with no luck. I found a bunch of posts about replacing the main fuse and people who put the battery in backwards, but little else that acted like my problem. (and vague post titles don't help much btw...)

Now I'm hoping that someone here can tell me where the "other" main fuse is or whatever I've blown that would completely kill all the electrical.

Thanks in advance!

And the answer to my own question is...

Just because you're getting voltage from the post doesn't mean you're getting it from the collar that goes around the post.

I'm still not sure why it snapped, unless that was the sound of it arcing and cooking whatever it was in between the post and the collar, but nothing was blown. Just needed a really really good cleaning.
