electric problems on a 90 gxl

AB electric problems on a 90 gxl

okay heres the deal..my cd player is not working and no left signal light thats front and back....i checked all the fuses and relays and i cant find any proiblems...
everything els works.including the right signal and all the intr lights...

If the right turn works then the two fuses are good. The problem would be in the signal from the turn lever and the flash unit inside the CPU. Or a bad solder joint for the left signal wire at the CPU plug or even a bad board in the CPU which can be bought seperatley from Mazdatrix or some other dealer.

So you'd select left with the lever and backprobe the wire at the CPU plug to see if there is power there when you select left. IF so, then the problem is internal to the CPU board most likely. You might reflow the solder on the jack the plug attaches to, to see if that helps...or not.

I don't mess with audio stuff, but is this a STOCK CD player or a aftermarket CD player?
