electric motor noise from rear right wheel well?

I had assumed it was the actuator for the radio antenna and cut these 3 wires but it didn't make any difference? this winding noise has always come on every time i turn the ignition on.
edit: i actually mean the rear left wheel well

fuel pump primes when key goes to ignition on for a few seconds in order to pressurize the fuel rail, as fuel pressure may have bled off after the car has been off.

fuel pump priming should only last a few seconds. If it has been wired up with an aftermarket relay to be on all the time with ignition on, it will be on all the time.

At least on an S4 the fuel pump won't run on IGN, only when starter is engaged or the engine is running, unless it has aftermarket wiring or the check connector is used.

First off, why ruin the power antenna assembly? You can simy just unplug the antenna. Your next step is to unplug the fuel pump and see if the noise stops. The only other electronic component back there is the rear washer pump. That's a simple connector that can be unplugged as well. I would start there and report back.
