Question Electric mirrors not working.....

I just installed a new mirror controll switch/button but the mirrors don't respond in any direction. Is there any way to inspec the mechanisms on the mirrors themselves? And other than that where should I look for possible problems causing the failure?

if you have a volt meter, i would start there to see if theres any voltage getting to the mirror. if there is, then the mirror is shot.

Have you looked at a wiring diagram yet? Have you checked the appropriate fuse? Have you checked anything other than the forum?

I didn't know they had their own fuse but about two and a half weeks ago I went through the fuses to figure out why my dome light wouldn't come on and I didn't find any blown fuses. And no I didn't check the wiring diagram. I normally post when I am leaving home or going to work where I don't have access to the FSMs and usually don't have time for it. Its called a life mista Jason Now if you have anything that can help me with the problem at hand post it. I'm checking the fuse block again and pulling the fsm out tonight.

my mirrors didn't work for a while, and i didn't know why. Then one day i tried to use the cigar lighter but it wouldn't work. Changed the cigar fuse and mirrors worked again. Try that out santiago.

They don't, they are fed from the 10A CIGAR fuse.

I highly doubt your life is so busy you can't spend five minutes looking at a wiring diagram...
