I actually went with a permacool. But, as far as production car transfers, I have heard that the Ford Taurus fans are really good. The motors in them are reversible just like the aftermarket fans.

Fiero's are the only one I know of. I went with a Black Magic 150.

Meh I just put the stock fan back on last night. Nothng blows like that stock motha!

EDIT: My efan from a 92 dodge shadow fit perfect (with some minor tripping of efan radiator clips) and kept the car cool under all conditions. The fan came with its own shroud that covered the entire stock radiator.

this is the only semi decent pict i could find of it...

I'd take a pict right now but its snowing and... well no.

EDIT2: Meh.. guess it didn't cover as well as I thought. http://sheepdog.ar2engineering.net/p...s/PICT0038.JPG

IF your going to mess with the cooling make sure its the best..I bought a Black Magic for 150$ 2 weeks used. They go for 200 at summit catalog. Worth every penny

Gain is probly 2rwp. Pluss you have the option of having the car keep the fan on after the car has been turned off so you can cool the engine when it gets its hottest. Wich is right after you turn it off. The fan blows hard and is alot better then the perma cool.

You can hear the fan turn on at idle or if your a pussey you can install a light so you can see it working.

I'm happy with my Fiero fan. The temps are fine and stay at about 85C in city driving. I haven't tested it in the hot summer temps yet though.
