Electric fan thermostats

My adjustable fan thermostat decided to go on the fritz yesterday in rush hour traffic. The contact on it isn't working right. I'm going to pull it apart to see if I can fix it, but I was curious what other good controllers are out there that are reliable.

Single or dual speed fan?

Lots of good/reliable thermoswitches available...NAPA is a good source of information.

I'm using the Jeg's $26 option at the moment. I just need a single speed. Nothing fancy. Just something that's dependable.
