Electric Fan

I am wanting to set up an Electric fan on my 87 Turbo2.

I have read Aaron Cake's write ups about the Myth's and the how to's, but I dont know how dated that is.

I completly understand that an Efan will NOT out cool a stock fan. But I am in need of Engine space and am doing this mod anyways.

I wanna know, does anyone have any suggestions as to a certain brand of fan? What type pushes air the best?

Thanks alot

Search for finger Chopper for what ever brand that is.

I have heard good news about Black Magic as well.

DO NOT GET A CHECKER IMPERIAL FAN! They don't have enough CFM to push any air through our rads. I know from experience(Had a 16 inc one).

94 escort fan works very well. They have two speeds, fit almost perfectly over the stock radiator, and pull really hard. Both myself and a friend of mine have them on our cars, and they work great. He's got a greddy fmic on his and he still hasn't seen temps above 190, which is perfect.

It's completely up to date and accurate. If you're intent on doing this, follow his installation advice. Many e-fan problems are caused by half-assed installs.
