This is kinda odd one, well atleast for me it is. In my 91 vert my air bag light won't come on when I crank my car up, but when I turn the key to the on position it works just fine. I've noticed when light to indicate that the air bag is on isn't lit up that my wipers, ac controls, and vert control don't work aswell.

Does anyone know where all of these are connected?
Are they in the control switch when you take the instrumental cluster off?

Any type of info would be great

Your description is unclear, and that is probably why you are not getting a response.

The airbag idiot light should come on, when you turn the key to the ON position but do not start the car.

It should also be on for about the first 5 seconds when you start the car and then turn off.

Is this how your system is working?

The Wipers, Top, and Climate controls are all powered by the 2nd ignition wire at the key switch. If your key switch is bad, or you have the wire unplugged, they will not work. If it is an intermittent problem, you probably have a bad key switch. The most common reason for a bad ignition switch is having 20lbs of key rings dangling from the key.

The 90 and 91 US spec convertibles came with drivers side air bags, as the fed mandated all cars built as 90+ model year vehicles have a passive restraint system for all those idiots who forget to put on their seat belts.
