Electonic MOP replacement
Okay, so I am swapping out the MOP on my GXL because it died a few weeks ago. Everything was going fine until I was ready to put the "new" one in.
I noticed that there is some kind of grey silicone gaskety type stuff around the outside edge of the "new" one. Is this normal? I looked at the one I took off the GXL and there is none on the MOP itself or stuck to the front housing.
This is not where the O-ring goes. I already have that in place. This is one the side with the two bolts that attaches the assembly to the front housing.
My question is whether or not to go get some grey silicone gasket maker and reapply this to the area in question. If anyone needs a picture, I can go get one.

New problem...
I broke the lower MOP mounting bolt off inside the MOP. You know the one that has threads then has a space, then more threads. Well, it broke off at that blank space. How big of an issue is this? Could I possibly leave it in? If not, how hard is it going to be to get out? Drilling involved I am guessing...
