EGT and wideband locations

Well I welded up the wideband bung right after the downpipe curves and goes straight. I was thinking about using the 02 sensor location, but it just seemed like the wideband sensor would get to hot and potentially melt/malfunction. This was good logic im hoping ?

So now my question is wheres the best location to do an EGT sensor, and what if i want to do dual EGT's?

PLX says to mount the wideband about 20" back OR use a heat sink on the sensor.

So you want your O2 sensor as far down the downpipe as you can? And your other two bungs in the manifold are for EGT and wideband right? Or am I understanding that picture wrong?

Are we talking 20 inches from the block or 20 inches from the turbo? ^^^Those guys widebands are in their manifolds? And I looked for a decent heat sink, and all the ones I found didn't look terribly reliable, is there one you were specifically thinking of that worked well?

the EGT's should be close to the engine, the O2 can be just about anywhere. end of the DP is good, because its not too hot

Egt are in the exhaust manifold, o2 in the downpipe. End of the downpipe is usually where the o2 sensor should be...

Mine is about 20 in from the turbo. IF I put in an egt it will go in the stock hole that racing beat puts in there turbo back. Its just a few inches from the turbo.
