It's quite hard and expensive to fit a '94 rx-7 engine into an 2nd gen, and probably even harder to do it in a 1st gen. They use totally different engine mounts, among other things. In fact, I think its actually easier to fit in a 20b. If you want specifics, use the search feature to look, its been covered many times before. Its much easier to just swap in a TII engine (assuming its not already a turbo). If you want more power than that, there are many turbo upgrades you can get ranging from BNR hybrids to a full T04 all the way up to Carx7's wonderful DBB turbo.

Just find a 2nd gen T2 and put a big turbo and supporting accessories. 2 is not always better than 1.

Dude, you do NOT want to put a 94 engine in anything else but another Fd..
TOO much work for what its worth. I dont own an FD, but i hear it will last about 70k miles before it dies, and you can make the same power with a 87-91 turbo engine anyway..

Or just have the stock 13b bridge ported.

Fact is, for the money you are going to spend putting an FD motor in your car, you could build an S5 TII motor that could compete with said FD motor.

you could buy an FD for the price of the conversion.
