Egay Blow Off Valves....

Are they any good?

My car was making a really loud bov sound for about 2 weeks, well, i thought it had an aftermarket one on there until something happened.
I was under boost and shifter, PSHHH, POOF, and the car died.

I found that the intercooler hose on the drivers side had popped off, and while it was loose the air would go through acting just like a bov.

I saw today i have a factory one, and since i tightened that hose, its quiet now....

Do you think i did any damage?

So....does any one think this thing would be loud?

is it the same brand in a single horn? do you think a double horn would be louder or more quiet? Same brand as the one on egay?

same exact one, just single horn. my friend has that EXACT dual horn one on his TII but i can honestly say i've never heard it yet. mine is incredibly loud, people on the highway know it when i want to antagonize them LOL! my theory is the dual horn will be quieter because there's more room for the air to vent so it isn't squeezing it's way (which is what creates the noise). if you want loud, get the single horn.

damn! If its really that loud, I guess i'll start looking for the single horn version....
When my intercooler hose was loose and the pressure was escaping from there it sounded really good! Is it going to be (estimating roughly) louder or quiter?
