ECU,wiring harness interchange
I have an 86 RX-7 track car,autocrosser. All polution control,IAC,cold start,etc has been removed.The 86 motor(rebuilt)has an 90 intake manifold,86 throttle body and AFM.
I would like to change the AFM,engine wiring harness and ECU to an 89-91 . I'm looking for the improved flow of the later AFM and quicker processing speed of the later ECU.
Does anyone know from experience how compatible is the interchange of the wiring harness with FI sensors,O2, Fuel pump etc.? Can a 89-91 TPI be adapted to an earlier throttle body?
