what wire do you reground to the engine block for the 3800 RPM hesitation? I searched a bit but couldn't find anything. Though it used to be in the archives...

Here is the site from aaron that I used to find the grounds on my car as well. Make sure you have another gasket to replace the one that may be ruined when you remove the upper intake.

I took the manifold off about 7 months ago and sanded the injector ground. It helped a little bit but there is still a slight drop in power between 3800-3900. I take it that running a wire from 3a and 3g on the ECU and bolting it to the engine will help?

Also what is this boost sensor trick? Is it referring to the atmospheric pressure sensor?

Would me not cleaning the actual plugs to secondary injectors be the rest of the problem?

if you pull up the carpet and find the ecu, pull the harness wrap back a little and youll find a point where all of the grounds meet in the harness. its about 6 inches back. solder a wire on there and ground it to the bracket that holds the ecu. worked great for me.

props to hailers for this.

ive done all the other ground points. i even put a new starter in a while back so i cleaned that one up too. cleaned up the body to engine ground. cleaned up the clip by the coil pack. i even cleaned up the oil sender unit solenoid. all done about a year ago. my next thing is regrounding the emissions.

i just bought new battery terminals too. hopefully all this will get rid of the rest of the 3800 crap.

look at the factory wiring diagram, find what wires on the ecu go straight to a ground, locate these wires under the dash, ground them to the frame of the car.
