Which ecu uses low impedence injectors?

I have what i would consider an early 87 (std suspension, crappy steel hood) and its got high impedence in it now and runs really rough.

What ecu needs the low impedence injectors?

thanks

It's not the ECU that uses low impedance. It's the harness that works with low or high impedance. All the ECUs are high impedance ot my knowledge, it's just that the 86-87.5 Rx-7s worked with low impedance injectors because there was a resistor pack in the harness.

A solution to fix your current situation is to either take your car's current resistor pack and cut it out and splice the 5 wires that run to it all together...

...or just get low impedance injectors.

Well stated.

You, Spooler, need to pull your airfilter/afm out and look below it and see if there is a Solenoid Resistor package bolted to the frame/fender, to determine if your car came with one or not. If not, then it's a high resistance injector car. If it is there, then follow what Judgement Day advised.

Don't know what a solenoid resistor looks like? Do a Search and put in the words Solenoid Resistor and HAILERS in the other block and search. I've posted jpgs recently of one.

No, cause whatever you circled in blue is not the resistor pack.
