ECU reprogram question

Ok looking at my ECU it has yellow writing on the cover, someones initals on the sticker and when I opened the cover one of the chips has a black sticker on it with some numbers. Does this mean my ECU has been reprogrammed?

Or how do I tell if it has? What Eprom do they reprogram?
O' ya and this is a S5 TII if that matters.

THanks

First you need to fix your signature. Maximum size for a signature is 6 lines... yours is about 5 times that Fix it before an admin sees it and deletes it without any further warning.

2nd yellow paint is often found a junkyards to help parts guys figure out what it came from

3rd all chips have stickers on them refereing the program from the factory.

Now if the chip was a in a socket and soldered to the circuit board, then it might be an aftermarket chip... but otherwise no, you don't have some funky programed unit.

Pics would help???

The sticker on the EPROMs are white with normal black font.
If there is anything handwritten on it, it's not stock.
