ECU question.

Well i had a question about S4 ECU numbers. What are the numbers for low impedance standard and automatic, and what are the numbers for high impedance standard and automatic. I need to know because my 88 GXL seems to have been transferred from auto to standard and i wanted to make sure that it had the right ECU, unless the auto ECU didnt make a difference.

And also, if there are low impedance injectors how would the car act?? or would it even run with the high imp ECU and low imp injectors.

Thanks

No such thing as a automatic ECU. There is a seperate unit to serve the automatic. I THINK your ECU should be something like a N326 or N327.

Low impedence injectors went by the way side in the middle of 1987. Chassis number

Your ECU should be N327, as HAILERS mentioned already.

326 or 327 will run any 86-88 nonturbo just fine. There is no difference in automatic or manual. The type of injectors did not matter to the ecu..the difference is made up in the wiring harness. Regardless of injector/wiringharness type, 13ohms or so reached the ecu and it doesnt know the difference.

I should have said right out of the factory rather than should.
