Apex'i intake on S4

Well Ive done a bit of searching and calling around and havent come to a conclusion yet. As some of you may know, the apex'i intake isnt offered for the S4. Im not sure why, nor does Apexi North America (they're suggestion "Call Japan" )

Initially i considered buying the Apexi universal filter which is a 80mm diameter (3.14" (pi )) opening. Most of the universal adapters have a 3" diameter (76.2cm) which is slightly too small.

Another option is to get an adapter which matches the S5 AFM diameter (not sure what it is, maybe someone can post it?) and then order the kit made specifically S5 but I believe that has an airpump fitting in the adapter it comes with? Well if anyone has suggestions or would like to point out any errors on this, feel free to contribute. Thanks.

im making one for mine. just buy the filter by itself (35 bucks) and then if you know how to work with aluminum and can do some welding....

basically just cut out a circle of aluminum that matches the diameter of the filter
cut out another circle in that piece that is the size of your piping
drill holes so you can screw in the filter for your adapter
take the pieces and have a welding shop do it for $5 bucks

How does that adapt to the square AFM entry? Sounds like it doesn't, which means very poor flow.

Read this thread for a DIY adaptor.

Thanks for the information guys.

I dont think the odds are on my side when it comes to fabricating one though. But it seems like it may be my only choice.
