ecu question

i'm puting a 13b out of an 88 non turbo rx7 in my 84 gsl-se. i found a ecu out of a 89 non turbo. will that ecu work for the 88 engine?

not without getting all the 89-91 non turbos sensors and AFM and harness

well shouldn't the sensors be the same? for the 88 to 89? both engines are non turbo. and harness is a given. this os gona sound stupid but what is a AFM? i bet i just dont' nkow the abr. word

There is a FAQ at the top of this section as far as the abr...

But AFM is Air Flow Sensor

and although a few of the sensors are the same (such as the O2); the fuel injectors, TPS and other things are not.
