There are two schools of thought on upgrading the stock ECU:
1. totally pointless
2. really awesome
The reality falls between the two... Don't expect more than a 5HP gain, especially considering the fact that there is no way to tune the stock ECU no matter how you "chip" it. You still rely on the software burned into whatever chip you buy.
For the money, go out and buy an Apex'I S-AFC so you can tune your fuel curve. You'll see better gains, and you have the tunability you need when you mod your car. Plus, you'll actually get better mileage.

thank you on your reply. I still wounder about the product you mention? how does it work or how do you use it? is it pretty easy to install??? As mush info as you are willing..

For info on the S-AFC, search the forum. Tonnes of info has already been posted. Also, check out the manufacturers site at http://www.apexi.com
