eBay turbo kits
Has anyone tried to bolt a ebay turbo kit to a na engine? I ask because I built my engine with low compression rotors (previous owner seized the engine and it was a free turbo rotating assembly) in the hopes of turbocharging in the future. My other option is to obtain the stock intake and exhaust then port match the six port block. I also have all the turbo electronics to do the swap.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Don't waste you time/money on ebay junk. My friend has gone thru 3 ebay turbos in 3 years. Spend a little more cash on a name brand turbo. Or get a stock one with no/little shaft play from the junk/scrap yard.
Just my opinion but the ebay stuff is junk.

Ebay turbo is good if you are going to do less then 10 psi all day. I dont know how they will deal with teh heat from a rotary engine though. I had friends with ebay kits on their 4cyl running 10 psi max and it lasted for some years.
If I was going to turbo my n/a, I rather just buy a complete swap from a jdm place for around $1500.
The ebay kit like this
GT45 5PC T4 TURBO KIT TURBOCHARGER+SS MANIFOLD+WG 86-91 MAZDA RX-7 FC3S 13B-DEI | eBay
should be able to clear the n/a intake manifold since the turbo manifold puts the turbo out more towards the front of the car so the compressor housing wont hit.

I just talked to Forrest **** at a car show yesterday for probably like 45 minutes and he was being real straight up.. IE telling me what sponsers sold shitty ****, and which sponsers had legit stuff, and one if the main points he made was that he was making 650whp on a godspeed turbo.. Next year in formula d he will be running the same set up, since he has already tested its durability all season in hot *** las vegas..

That turbo that Black Knight posted is actually a pretty decent turbo, the rest of the kit might be fairly sub-par though. I just tuned a 94 mustang with a 351 running that turbo last night, and it was hitting 18 psi rolling into the throttle at about 3500 rpm. It'll be a bit laggy on a rotary though.
